Sunday School Recap, September 12th

1st to 5th Grade:
What do we do when we cannot “see”?
In 1 Samuel 13, Saul, the King of Israel, didn’t trust God to come through and went on with his own efforts. Ultimately, he failed.

For us, the “Joy Story” is about God’s ability to work despite our own failures and be powerful anyway.
Through our failures and God’s ever-giving grace, we come to trust Him more in times that we cannot see.

Psalm 23 is a great reminder for us when we are in places where we cannot see, to know that God is trustworthy even when our circumstances are overwhelming.

Psalm 23:1
The Lord is my Shepherd; I shall not be in want.

Pre-K and K:
God takes care of Moses

God took care of baby Moses because God had a special job for him to do later.

"The Lord... cares for those who trust in him."  Nahum 1:7
